well, considering one came out black and the other, not so black... sounds like baby mama drama !

Excuse me?

Sorry Fred, don't mean to hijack the thread. Just trying to determine whether this guy is trying to be a little too cute, or really just has no clue what "twin" means.

Nick,

Got you down for one EN plated. Still eight left.

Should finally be seeing these next week from the machine shop. Boy, small customers don't get priority treatment, that's for sure. :grin2:

I would also like a EN

But i also have a few more requirements, if possible that is:
1) 2 stage, one low (around 30H or runtime) and one High (2H of runtime)
2) Cree Q5 emitter.
3) Pure flood beam profile with next to zero hotspot.

How much would all of the above add to the final cost ?

Thanks in advance

John

John,

Sorry, but I am not offering variable brightness levels, nor do I have any Crees.

Btw love the new style, curious just to make sure for $100 +/- $20 does that include electronics and reflector and such?

What, you want it to light up, too? I thought just lookin' good was enough?

Yeah, that was what the original game plan was all about. I am using all new suppliers for the machining, EN plating and anodizing, so my costs were not nailed down when I made that estimate. I will attempt my best to keep to that target, but I don't plan to sell at a loss, either.

Still, this is only an indication of interest thread, so anyone who doesn't like the final pricing is under no obligation, nor did they have to send me money beforehand.

Sounds good, I have been looking for a good affordable light with good runtime and a nice size, looks like I found it.

Any chance you will have cree's by the time you make these?

I also see you are making good use of manbearpigs free titanium, any chance we can get our hands (me) on some titanium?
