Re: High Powered "D" Maglite Drop in *Feeler*

I've got a nice looking 2-D Jade Mag I'd love to put a 5 Amp'r dropin into. Single level direct drive would be fine by me.

If I can power it with a Kaidomain 32650 then I'm in for one :)

Definitely interested in one or two. I would love to use this in a Mag 3D with either Alkalines or High capacity NiMH cells. I think that there is huge demand for this type of drop-in.

I definately want one regulated model but has there been any consideration of making a direct drive model.

The advantage being that in the absence of proper drivers to run the SST-50 at full power a DD model will allow those of us who would like full power now to experince it (albeit without regulation).

I'm interested in a "D". Also a "C", if you make them.

*edit*
Not sure if there's a difference between the 2D or 3D -- but i'd actually be down for a 2D one, instead of 3D.

BEFORE:
i'd be interested in one -- 3D.
