After the remnents of a hurricane a couple years back my roof had a leak. I called the insurance man who sent out a rep to scope out the situation. About 2 weeks later they replaced the shingles.

A year later they doubled my annual premium.
Here in NorCal home owners coverage went up 30% this year, rezoning my area into "extreme fire hazardous" ~ So I reached out to get rates from another carrier (USAA) Soon as a gave my zip code location an automated recording said "so sorry"
Due to CA BLM forest mismanagement nearly all of this state is a fire hazard

Ian is stalled over the north east/mid-Atlantic region of the US.
Not much wind threat, but a whole lotta rain and high surf for some.
Hang in there folks.

My thumb to the iPhone screen as a markup after editing a screen grab to size. Animated radar was showing it pretty much stalled at about 8 o'clock this morning.
