Hey there wimmer, the 6p on the last pic is the standard 6v bulb(incan).

My xhp70 de-dome 5000k is in the m2

Beam pic

Would say pretty much perfect or as perfect as a beam can be from a p60(imo anyway). Its a wall of light , only right close up on 100% can you make a hot spot out, from a few metres just a wall of light.

Here you can see how wide and in the distance how far reaching.

Tree right in the distance that is a little hard to make out(due to phone and not drop in) is around 150m away.

Very impressive beam, and with outstanding throw too! You have a winner there, Ven. Thanks for sharing.

Hey do you have any lumen/lux numbers on that beast?

Btw if you ever decide to sell it let me know. :)

It's probably my fav drop in wimmer, contact Matt
http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...S-XHP-70-lt-Copper-P60-modules-3000-OTF-lumen!

Now being an xhp70 it needs 2 cells to feed it, for now it's on 2x IMR16340's for maybe 3000lm. Feed it 2x18350's and maybe 3500+lm, feed it on 2x26650's and would guess over or near 4000lm.

Lux no idea , it will light a field up(can't catch it on camera) and bring the colours out. Probably loose around 500k from the de-domed xhp70 5000k , so real easy on the eye.

If you like your p60's then it really is a must buy:)

Welcome and you won't regret it! I went for the dr Jones option and 5000k de-dome, sure he will be able to tell you what he has via pm. For those times the q70 is too big, this nicely fills the gap in being pocketable.
