I've heard that, but has anyone done an "official" runtime and regulation test? Rumors say the last versions are better at running with only one battery (including the Hound Dog regular and super), but no one knows for sure since Malkoff's website has no updated info.
I ran an M91N on 2 xAA for about 60 hours. I think it's in the M91 thread somewhere.

M91b hi/lo with fivemega md1 and surefire/oveready medium press clicky. Was a hard press but took oring out. Taking a two cell extender with me to run 2x18500s or 3 primaries on road trip. Might even take sleeve and dummy along. Clip doesn't do much but keeps light from moving as much in pocket.

Does Fivemega still make body extensions? I am looking for one to add onto a MD2 so I can have the option to run 2 x 18500 batteries with an M91BW drop in.

@Kalsu I'm not sure Fivemega has extenders available right now. I don't think he does, but I'll admit that I'm not always very good at finding everything that he has available. I can tell you that Oveready does currently have 18350 extenders available and they work great with Malkoff bodies.

I couldn't find any Fivemega extenders available either. I did run across the Oveready extenders though. I may go that route. I know their stuff is good to go. I am kind of surprised that Malkoff doesn't make any.

I've gotta say fellas, the M91 with the MD3 is hands down best omnivore out there.. Today I just remembered I have two stabilized 1.5V keeppower li-ions, so I've plucked them in my MD2+1 and much to my surprise it's not that different in output than a M61 at full blast.
I'm mighty impressed.

This baby can run 1-3 CR123s ( limited to 3 by the body), 1-3 RCR123(16340) or 18350, 1x16650, 1x18650, 1-2 18500s, 1-2 10440, 1-2 14500, 2xAA, 2xAAA...
Did I miss anything?

That's ok but with 2 primary 123's it's like 2.5-2.7.

edit-wait is that what your saying your getting with 2-123's? With a M91?

EXACTLY. I've put two CR123s instead of my 18500s and ran it for a while to try and see what's what.
2xCR123 + M91BN it was around 5.96 votls and 1.53 amperes.
