A totally silly qustion, but are the other Orb offerings going to default to XR-Es as well? I'm eyeballing an NS or Ti preorder...

Thanks!
Good Question actually. I will still have to modify reflectors on the Ns & Ti. Hence the extra cost. the next batch of Reflector should require less work/time. I will be aiming to at least reduce the cost of the XR-E option on the NS & hope to remove the extra cost from the Ti's.
BTW I have Raw Ti's in stock with 0,3,4, or 5 optional ice blue Locators.

Orb - not sure how these are ordered on the web site as site shows £35.00 for 3 watt and additional £20.00 for Cree? I can't order anyway right now but will in future and just wondering if the web site needs updating or if this is a CPF special? Tnx for great products!

Gary123, Thank you for the reminder, I ought to have included that Primary CR2 can be used at reduced brightness but longer run times.
Approx 30 Lumens high for 7 hours, 10 Lumens low 10 hours +.[/QUOTE]

I am surprised at the difference in output between a primary and a rechargeable: 120 lumens vs. 30 lumens - 4 times the output!

That is because it is direct drive I believe and you aren't really close to the Vf with a regular battery but RCR2 is right at it's best drive voltage.

Yes I urgently need to to get the web site updated :thanks:
No need to add the £20 extra for the Alu Raw as the XR-E is now standard.

Gary123, yes as Matrix says the 0.7 Volt extra from the Rechargeable makes a huge difference.

The ORb XR-E is a great size for a keychain light, it's only Slight bigger than a Photon Freedom. I think I might get an ORB next month.. heheh I can't wait! :)

I have a few questions:-

What is the WG tint like?
Are the components loose inside (like the original raw)?
Are there any O-rings?

I still have an original U-bin raw classic and its great.

Hi, will the 30 Lumens with primarys be on both Versions?
The one with 120, and the one with 80 lumens on high ? Or is there a difference?

Can i order 2 extra ice blue Locators? (Not atached to the Torch.)

I like the WG tint, I would say almost tint less. We have sold over 100 of this Tint now & had only good reports.
I will try to do those beam shots @ the weekend.

Components are a tight fit, & normally only come loose if the PCB has been in & out a few times.

No O Rings on the Alu raw, Just the NS & Ti.

Alex in Germany, If you had the 80 Lumen high setting PRCR2. Then with Primary CR2 high would drop to around 25 Lumens.
Yet another option is to have High set at Max 120 Lumens & Not so Low 80 Lumens for 1hour.
So many options :ohgeez:

I'm curious, have the number of threads on the head/body have been increased at all compared to the original RAW?

Got a couple questions,
Does it have a key ring hole?
Does it have O rings for a little water resistance?
And do you take paypal?

Looking at the pictures at the start of the thread it looks like the ring holder protrudes and would prevent the RAW from sitting flat on its end. Or am I seeing it wrong?

Is the Cree available on the Sterling Silver version ??

Also, any chance of a 4-stage switch available in the future !!

Ideally, 120, 60, 30, 15 lumen levels :)
