A little after 5:00 pm CST the sun will be setting and a full moon will be rising.

Some will be thinking of the romantic nature of the event.

How ever it works out, I think there's going to be a whole lotta smooching going on y'all. We'll just go to dinner and a show and maybe try to take a photo or two.

What are you doing tonight? A warm couch and a hot toddy sounds pretty good.

Unfortunately it's cloudy and snowing here, so likely won't see the full moon tonight.

We are just staying in, drinking wine and having a chocolate fondue.

It was very nice during my walk tonight. Very bright, hardly any clouds and didn't have to use a flashlight, even though I wanted to.

We had thin cloud cover so the sky looked luminescent. Clear right now. At 98% tonight should be pretty strong. Around an hour later on the rise at about 6 CST.

I keep missing, due to weather or forgetting, those spectacular ones. I was cruising back into Arkansas around 9 o'clock maybe on the ninth of September and I could see a dim orb that was dark red. I'd never seen it do that before. Wish I could have caught a photo but traffic was fast and heavy. Seems like this time of year they just leap up real sideways and turn lunar white real quickly. I'd like to catch one of those great pumpkin looking suckers.

Here's few pics from last night. I wish I could have got the setting right on that shot in the trees a little faster. It was a big, misshapen, intensely orange orb moving with great determination. It was awesome.
