Nice RRT-0 :twothumbs, what size o-ring did you use? I have been looking to do the glow ring thing to mine, perhaps some paint as well...

Cheers

Thanx..:D.....3/4"........the ones from lighthound or from Sigman......they both fit the same......but I do have to say.....the glow paint/powder from Glow Inc is FAR better than the o-rings.....the glow is brighter and laster longer....I may remove the o-ring and do the glow powder/epoxy thing......BTW, rayman......I really like that blue glow....

Thanks curiousone1

I have also been looking at the paint/powder as well. Let us know how your epxoy experiment works if you decide to do it.

Have a great weekend all

here is my Fenix LD20... I used made an epoxy mold with blue glow powder
email.appstate.edu
out of a dime (which fits right in the bezel) and used a dremel to shape the ring into the bezel.

EG, BEST. GLOW MOD. EVER!

I'm guessing the texture is a little "rough" because of the glow particles?

Thanks man! Its akin to a mild grit sandpaper. It enhances grip enough that its almost worth adding to other colors just for that.

Sgt LED is organizing a pass around, but you're still a bit far these days!

First post.

From GITD mods here and other forums I have been inspired. I'll likely be buying some europium/strontium doped GITD powder to mess around with between now and xmas. At which time I may get some more toys to play with.

Possible things to mod:
4sevens quark AA^2, cell phone, keys (drill and fill shallow holes), USB drives, laptop accents, knife/multitool accents, light switches, DIY GITD micarta, car headlight glow ring, oil paints adding some glow to them, glow fobs, camping stuff, emergency stuff, ammo cans, laboratory jacket, backpack, magnesium fire starter, etc...
