Not sure which of those parts might function as a breakaway release, but safety would be my concern, with that long loop of what appears to be paracord.

A neck lanyard must have a point that will fail somewhat easily for safety. Paracord is so strong that you could be strangulated by it in an incident.

Gents, flashlight lenyards are meant to be strong, held around your hend and not around your neck. Badges/ID's are meant to have brakeaway lenyard. Plus the flashlight weight could snap it by accident.
Vinh your paracord option is the way it should be.

I don't want unbreakable cord wrapped around my wrist either, but it was called a "neck lanyard" above

Yes to the low-low!! Too few of my lights permit use after a few hours of shut-eye.

Definitely! Basically a Zebralight with some Vinh spin would be nice. I don't even know what that entails exactly...but looking forward to this regardless.
