anyway i'm looking at something reliable like nova laser 25mw but thatll cost quite a bit.

no they don't, i happen to spot sheares from my bus ride home after exam 30 mins ago. i decided to alight and give it a look after identifying the huge 'surefire' label. the gentlemen attending to me mentioned that they initially considered nitecore and novatac but not anymore...in a response to my question on novatac.

I just came across this forum, and really surprise to see so many crazy people (that what my colleague called me) interested in torchlight!!

I just started my collection, just bought Inova T3, Fenix P3D, P2, must really learn from you guy (& gal)!!

where might be a good place for me to play with my lights?

i was at the flyer shopping area for dinner with my family, we decided to stroll a bit along the waters after... it was pretty dark towards one end and i took the opportunity to flash!!!

other than that, i haven't had a real chance to utilize my light!

my friend had to check some underground cabling system at work once and whipped out his P1 Q5...everyone went WOAHH...

My laser is in and it is BRIGHT!!! Even in crowded HDB estates from the 12th floor it can hit blocks of flats close to a km or more, the beam is like a lightsaber going up into the sky man!

It feels very hefty too, am running it on RCR123 3.7 volt.

cool! thanks for the review, i've always been intrigued by this particular model due to the flashlight style design and trusty cr123 battery delivering substantial output at the same time remain 'shorter' as compared to 2 x AA/AAA lasers.

the only thing i am concern about is the quality of the IR filter.
how much did you pay for this piece?

it looks really awesome i must say..

price is as per the link to the laser, IR filtering is, i think, non-existent but if anyone is willing to lend their eye for a test, please contact me, hehe.

Oh man.. that is awsome!! A bright yellow flashlight. Now why didn't I think of that!?
