While that is a nice gesture,
somebody who doesn't buy his / her own flashlight
tends to be, uhhmmm, quite reluctant to purchase
replacement batteries for the thing.
I've seen it often . . . .
Company purchases a dozen flashlights,
and passes 'em out to their Foremen.
Foremen are "giddy as little schoolgirls" about their new flashlights.
Especially, 'cuz it is yet another display of "status" over their workers.
But, in a week or two, these flashlights have exhausted their (included) batteries.
Foremen grumble and moan. :scowl:
"Company oughta' buy a case of batteries, so we can keep using our lights !"
"i'll be goddammed if i'm gonna' spend my OWN money for batteries !"
"Company really let us down, here."
You get the picture, i trust.
Just my personal observations. (wink)
Hope that your situation is better than what i've related here.
