Noch in Bearbeitung!

Hi,
got this new flashlight yesterday:
N-Light ST50

because our holiday start in some hours, i can write only my first impressions.
Will take some measurements ,if I am back in around two weeks. Also I will complete my impressions with more details!

+ good quality overall, good threads, good anodyzing
+ good UI, forward clicky and only one mode in the second group (head loosened), so perfect for momentary on function
+ other modes in the first group (tightend head) with memory
the beam is more floody/big hotspot, (not for thrower fans:)
the tint on my NW version is good, light yellowish beside a CW LED

will add more informations in the next time!
and please ask, if you have special questions!

and now the pictures:

I'm curious about this.........If it's a forward clicky in second group, how does it work in the first group? Do you need to turn off the light to change mode? Or just half press to change mode when the light is ON?

in the first group, you can only change the mode with a half press, if the light is off!

Nice photos! Thanks

Have you measured the current draw on high. It appears this flashlight is in direct drive on High. Does it have any regulation at all?

Thanks for good information. ichoderso!

It looks well made torch.

Thank you all! Yes, it's a well made torch.
because the current:
I will add more informations, if I am back from my hollidays next week.
But I can say: below around 3,6V the current drops, above this voltage, I measure 2A and this is constant up to 8V ( would not go higher, because the body go hot quickly with this voltage....)
So I would recommend this flashlight only for 18650 battery at this moment!

Thank you for bringing this excellent looking light to my attention.
Does the anti-roll feature (or cigar grip) come off?

There is no PWM. Immeasurable on the DMM (Hz) as well as inaudible by placing it over a black t-shirt.

Low is also very low, 0.016A

My NW is a 4 series tint, just a very slight yellow...definitely not yellow like 5 series.

Can't verify how tough is it...don't wanna abuse the light. :D But supposed to be made from 7075-T6 like the Trunite Catapults.

I'm interested in this light, anyone have a side by side pix with Solarforce P60 lights?
Thanks

Is this an ok entry level flashlight? I am looking for an 18650 cell flashlight (have lots of these for my mobile power box) and would prefer a cigar shape form factor.
