Dear Varooj,

I already posted interest in one red: now I am ready to go for one RED and one more in GREEN, both with 12AA-3D holders. I'll gladly send the host whenever you are ready.

If oversized heads/reflectors are part of the process, so much the better.

Thanks in advance,

HAK

FM,
I suspect this battery pack should fit an old mag with the larger diameter. Is this correct?
Ken

All batteries in this battery pack are slightly gapped from each other to prevent shortage in case battery cover (heat shrink) torn or removed. So loaded battery pack won't fit in any unbored M*g "D"

Any more of these coming soon?

Possible. Depends on number of interests.

Can I run the Osram 62138 bulb with this setup, or do I need a hot driver?

You can use 11 cells plus a dummy or go with hotdriver.

Fivemega: I might be interested in another of your 12aa-3d adapters. (I already have two.)

Additionally, nearly a year ago I bought a tri-bored 3D, for which I planned to use one of the AWR-not-yet-maybe-never-will-be "Smartpaks." My strategy was a) to use a battery pack that would accept 12 IB2000 4/5A batteries; and/or b) 15 IB1400's for an Osram IRC application.

Hence: an idea that you might consider, depending upon the interest, a holder similar to your 12aa-3d, except it would hold 12 4/5a-3d or 15 2/3a-3d. You might also consider some other options, along the lines of what he was proposing with his Smartpak.

At this time, we may never see AWR's battery packs. Who knows. If he ever gets around to producing and selling them, he will have to do so from a site different than CPF, as he is now banned from selling here.

Best regards.

I am interested in something that will hold 15 2/3a or what ever combo it takes to get 20 volts
