I'd sure like to get Size15's take on this.

Somehow I doubt he would spill the beans. There is the TITAN, L5 and IR/YG KROMA. All were under development this year and all were supposed to be released this year as well. No idea if the L5 is still "indefinitely" on hold.

Speaking of the Titan.... any word on its release?!?!?

Must be that Andrewwynn was hired as a consultant on the project.

Furthermore having a aa with a good emmiter and good circuitry would be like taking a 190 horsepower 1.8 liter and putting it into a car that's under 2,000 pounds like a Lotus Elise.

and that ^ is BRILLIANT!
..... but the lotus is competivly priced....its a 60k car that can play with the big boys in the 100k+ price range ...what about the flashlights..lol

You're all wrong. It's a pink A2.

Or perhaps something FAR less likely to come from Surefire..... A black L4.

I think the Titan was SureFire's equivalent of a concept car. Once they judge the market's reaction to the concept of the Titan, not just the light itself, then they'll decide wether or not to mass market it. Honestly, I think someone just got bored and said, "hey, what if we....?"

Technically, the Titan IS a Phantom:shrug:

Has anyone seen one yet except for at the Shot Show?

Yes, PK pulled #001/1000 out of his pocket at the LA Flashapalooza earlier this year. Three dozen eyes widened.

I saw it too at the Shot Show... it made me want one really bad at the time.

There are so many possibilities for new or upgraded products from Surefire that there is good reason to be excited if there is an imminent new product release.

Just imagine a Cree or Seoul equipped U2 or Kroma with a selector that works like the Titan. If they get something like this to market before Arc and HDS, then I will most likely have less money to spend on the new Arcs and HDS lights:thumbsup:
