All three lights(P1D-CE Q5, P2D-CE Q5, D-mini) will be brighter on 3.7v RCR123 batteries(But you will loose lower modes with the Fenix lights). The P1D and P2D use a different circuit, that could be a reason, and each individual LED also varies a bit.
