The Assistant Property Master for the upcoming Jason Statham film "The Mechanic" has asked us for a few Polarion's to be used by Jason in some fight sequences.

See: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0472399/

Apparently Jason asked for these lights by name....Now there is a man who knows his lights! :naughty:

Hope they actually work them in.

Any actor who asks for a Polarion by name is ok in my book. Rock on Jason!

Ken, that's Vesa, (CPF member Vee73) in Finland.

That's why he made this earlier comment to you about the "battery belt."

He posts lot's of great Polarion stuff including his colored filter pictures and video's like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q0DlAEc7-g

Just noticed that the place he was taking the video was called "Santa Claus Snow Adventure" ..... lol.

I knew who it was, but WOW...That is dedication to a passion!

A yes, now the comment has context.

I really like Vee's custom diffusion filter. It reminds me a lot of the U2D beam profile. What a great indoor or narrow caving beam!

That's cool to know maybe he has a collection of his own.

Woah Jason wants a Polorion! and use it for a fight scene. This I got to see

Vee, you are up there on the HID guru list with the other fine folks!

Aha! Here we talk about me and I have not noticed:duh2:
At the moment, here in Santa Claus and his country is the best moment of the year is owned by Polarion. The sun does not appear in a few months. So dark enough in all those who do not have Polarion. :thumbsdow
Here is enough of untouched forest in which the Polarion belt is necessary.

Here is a link to Santa's Village. I live in this place 5 kilometers:

You don't win a light, but you are eligible for a defective battery...Hey the economy is slow if you have not heard....

Good pic of Jason with the Polarion. He cracks me up because he's always looking so intense but that's the nature of his movie rolls. It will be neat to watch the movie to see how much of a roll the light plays. He's known for beating people up with objects of opportunity so you never know....haha!

I was trying to picture him whirling that thing around blinding people with it and then smashing them in the head !:twak:

Haha. I didn't even think about the blinding part but that would be awesome if they used it that way. I've seen people wearing NVD's get blinded by a flashlight with is pure Hollywood non-sense but it's almost non-existent that a "special" light is used to destroy an opponents ability to see at night. Ken, should contact them and suggest it for a tactical night skirmish of some type. It's always been popular to highlight specialized equipment capabilities in movies like James Bond with and his Aston Martin to Wahlberg's .408CT in Shooter. :)

You did't think about the blinding part....

Wow....I must live in a different dimension. :mecry:

Admit it, all of us flashlight nuts live in a different dimension.:p The blinding part occurs to me all the time, especially when I accidentally catch the reflection of the CSWL of the front glass of my fish tank, like I did the other night.:mecry: The idea of it being used in a movie just seems so remote as to be forgotten. When HSG mentioned it, it got me to thinking "what if they really did?" :grin2:
