Hi Guys...
Up for sale is a light that I bought from Don in December of 2006, when the few that he made were offered for sale: a Ti XR19-C.
If you`re interested, the following thread describes the history of Don`s efforts to create this nice light, as well as showing some comparative beam shots:https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/143226
The Ti XR19-C was part of my EDC for a few weeks when I first bought it. As sensless as it now sounds, I liked it so much that I shortly thereafter put it into my gun safe to keep it in nice condition. :help:
The light does have the usual light/minor scratches that become a part of a Ti light even with careful use (and be rest assured that my use of it was careful). I`d rate it at about 95% mint.
Per the above-linked thread, the light is a 1X123 two-speed (by twisting the head) Cree XR-E LED being driven by a GD converter at 525 mA, is designed for "throw" as opposed to "flood', can take both primary and rechargeable 123 batteries, and has a really nice/bright beam.
Here are some pictures of the light I`m offering for sale:
As you can see from one of the above photos, I took steps to replace the rather stiff black boot on the McClickie switch with a more flexible/user-friendly orange one. The picture of the bezel/relector and Cree LED is just a bad picture. I see no scratches on the lens, and the interior of the head and reflector is perfectly clean and clear. The bottom line: this Ti light is a piece of McGizmo history and is an exceptionally nice light (works like a champ) that has withstood the test of time as to both form and function.
The price: $725.00 USD
Now $700.00 USD
Now $675.00 USD
Sold!
I`ll cover shipping CONUS via USPS Priority Mail, with tracking. If insurance is requested, that will be extra at the actual cost of the same. Per usual, all risks of shipping are with the buyer once I put that package into the hands of the USPS.
International and/or Non-CONUS buyers are welcome, provided that you cover all shipping costs in excess of the CONUS shipping costs that would otherwise be incurred. And again, all risks of shipping and delivery are with the buyer once the package is mailed.
The first person to post an "I`ll take it", or a reasonable variation of the same, in this thread will be the buyer. (Asking a question won`t create a placeholder for you.) I can accept both cash-funded and CC-funded Paypal (but no E-Checks, please). I`ll eat the PP fees. Once a buyer posts in this thread, we can exchange PM`s or emails to sort out the shipping and payment logistics.
Thanks for looking!
