Will it work with the fm g4 bipin and stock mag bulb tower?

Yes, will fit in G4 sockets and can be used with M*g "C", M*g "D" and these bodies.
Also possible to use in G4 Sunlight with 3x26500 body or D36 socket/reflector in this body.
3x18500 M*gFire is another host to work with FM1909

How many do you need to make the run viable?

Only 25 pack of 4 will do.

It looks like I would run this in my Leef 3x18650 body with AW 3 level softstart where I currently run my WA1185. I have the link somewhere to LuxLuther's results for the WA1185 - but for comparison sake to "equivalent use" bulb it would be interesting to see link here.

At least one pack for me. I have a few of these bulbs and IMO they represent the best setup for a 3D Mag mod with 3 x 4000 mAh IMR. FM1909 uber alles!:thumbsup:
