I'm looking for a light to use in my truck in case of an emergency. This same light I would also like to pocket carry if needed. This same light I would also like to use in my off hand if needed to be used with a firearm.

Kinda an all around light. I'm assuming a multi mode light that would have a long run time in an emergency but bright enough to be used in my off gun hand if the SHF situation.

My vote goes to the Fenix PD20 because it has a pocket clip making it ideal for your possibility for pocket carry.

Solarforce L2m with a 3-mode XM-L drop-in.
I also am very fond of the Trustfire Z1, it is a great light, has a nice pocket clip
It's the light on the far right, has High/Lo/Strobe modes, $17.

yes pocket carry is important since if I need to carry firearm conceled, I want to be able to put the light in my pocket incase it is needed.

If you can get your hands on one. Jetbeam TC-R2, 310 lumens. Limited edition. Quite pricy, but this IS one of the best.

If on a budget I'd vote for jetbeam BC10. It screams on high, has a fairly bright low (actually more like a medium) Runs for 18 hours on low, about 1 hour on high, had a pocket clip and forward clicky for momentary on action ( a must for an offhand firearm light )

Thrunite neutron C1 and 4seven mini 123. Both with great reviews. I picked the 1C and put an order in this afternoon.

+1 for Thrunite Neutron 1C. It goes from firefly low to 450 lumens on high, very small, very well built. I have a good assortment of small-to-medium XM-L lights: Neutron 1A and 1C in both cool and neutral tints, Quark Mini X 123, Quark Turbo X 123, Lumintop TD-15X, ElektroLumens EDC-XML, and ZebraLight SC600. I like them all, but the neutral 1C is the light I grab most.

For the money the xeno E03 would be hard to beat. Cool white Neutral white and warms are available, but the neutral are hard to come by.... SORRY THESE are AA lights

does the Thrunite 1c have a pocket clip?

seems like there are some options from the above posts.

I will keep an eye out on the CFMarketplace to see if I an pick up somethind reasonable.

there is a HDS on there now but that is out of my price range for a light like this.

Sunwayman V10R is a great EDC light; the infinitely variable setting means you should always have the right amount of light, anytime!
