I bought it and I am quite impressed. 2450 lumens, MT G2 emitter - all for ~ $50 bucks. Best deal out there right now.
This light literally transforms darkness into daylight with great run times. However, sadly, no sheath is included.
Can anyone recommend a good sheath that will fit this light?
If you're considering this light and have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them for you.

You guy's are making me feel better about my, yet to arrive purchase, after one of our members Corzy, had a fast failure. I made the mistake of ordering some cheap batteries... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00N1QIFWK/?tag=cpf0b6-20 and when I charged them...looks like two of them, the protection curcuits kick out/resets/kicks out over and over before they fully charge...driving my charger crazy. And checking the voltage, one only charged to 3.8. So going to have to order the expensive Eagletacs or Keepowers. Have many of those but different amps and ages. Anyone have any better recommendations keeping price in mind?

I have the perfect recommendation: http://www.gearbest.com/batteries/pp_189833.html
Best price I've seen for 4 protected panasonics
Shipping takes 2-3 weeks but its worth the wait for that price.

Thanks for the battery tip! But dam it...Gearbest again. But yep...awesome price, to good to pass up. So I ordered 8 batts. Plan on getting a Thrunite TN36 UT at some point...soon I hope. Dragging my feet cause of price. Anyway, this should give me enough new batteries for both lights, with one left over. Sale is on for only one more day...so good timing.

Gearbest is NOW selling it for $98.95! Unbelieveable!! I bought mine only 2 weeks ago on what they called a "flash sale" for $52.40. Sometimes you have to jump on these deals when they're offered.

BTW the emitter is an amazingly white 6000K. It literally turns darkness into daylight.

The O-Light brand is recommend by many. Remember if you want a high quality and safe cell, you will have to pay a little more for the peace of mind.

Loving mine too! Great output and really nice tint.

What "tint"? Just joking. Did you know the Kelvin temperature is 6000K so there is no tint. Just super bright white light. and beam pattern is really perfect. How much did you pay for yours?

I posted this in another thread and I thought I would post it here as well. I am very happy with my G30

I put some new, fully charged, 3500mah KeepPower batteries in to test it the other night. It throws an honest 180-200m and I can make out a chain link fence at that distance. It has a lot of spill and really lights up the field. I bought this light to help blood trail and find deer/bear shot at last light and I think that it will fill that role nicely.

It is a solidly made light and fairly heavy loaded with batteries. It handles the heat on turbo very well and has a terrific run times on turbo and high which was a major consideration in my purchasing it. It is a temperature controlled step down and seeing as it will get its heaviest use in the fall when it is colder outI should get a really good runtime on turbo before it steps down.

I also really like the switch lock out feature that prevent it being accidentally turned on in my pack. You can also turn the tail cap a quarter of a turn, or so, to physically lock it out as well if you prefer that. I have reached in my pack for a light to either find it on or dead too many times over the years so any light that will go into my pack will have a lockout; no exceptions.

It comes with a spare "O" ring and a lanyard. It is a very reasonably priced light and I am glad that they put the money into the light instead of accessories.

FWIW
I also bought three Panasonic/Sanyo 18650 button tops to test in the G30. They fit fine and I expect that they will perform well. They also fit my Fenix Tk16, Fenix E35UE, and Nitecore HC90.

They are in the charger as I type and I will order some more in the near future.

ETA:

FWIW:
The Panasonic/Sanyo 18650's seem to be a little brighter than the KeepPower's to my eye. They both have more than enough current availability to run the light. Both sets of batteries are brand new and fully charged. Not a scientific test but the light is definitely noticibly brighter to me with the the Panasonic/Sanyo cells. I will be ordering more for sure.:D

Awesome light. Couldn't be happier.

Yes, those low prices are attractive, but there are obvious tradeoffs if the lights are DOA or malfunction later on. Then, you have to deal with GB customer support, which has extremely mixed reviews, mostly negative, and even the possibility of PP claims.

It's a gamble. But if you feel lucky or like your odds, by all means go for it.

WOW lol.

I'm missing something there, from which vendor?

& that tiny button on the tailcap, that's a clicky, or just press for momentary?
