    Fenix LOP came today!

FENIX: Please!!! make a L0P sized belt holster like the one for the L1P! I cut down a L1P new style belt holster to fit the L0P and it works great! Dissappears on my belt. But I would like to be able to order ready made holsters instead of cutting down L1P holsters. (I am not very good at...

    USB Flash Drives

I just bought a 20 Gig! (yes TWENTY GIG!) USB powered hard drive called a Firefly for $170.00 from BestBuy. It is about the size of a pack of cigarettes but only about 3/8" thick and is made of magnesium alloy, weighs only about 2 ounces. It has no power supply or batteries, it is powered...

simple high/low drop-in for Arc LS

Re: simple high/low drop-in for Arc LS / L4 Just browsing and a thought hit me! How about a membrane switch? You know, those flat plastic dome switches like you find on cheap calculators or remote controls. I seem to recall seeing them as single units. Install the resistor across the normally...

    L4 clickie repair instructions..

Just discovered a free source for the spacer ring which everyone already has! If you cut the plastic outer wrap off of a 123A battery there is a small plastic ring at the negative end of the battery. Fits the Z57 clicky switch perfectly!

    Annoucement: Arc-LS4

Hey Peter!, All I can say is WOW!! This will be the perfect light! Maybe we will see this technology migrate to incandescent flashlights and household lighting as well. How about using an infrared interface for programming options into the LS4. Kinda like a TV remote control. Would be alot...

Foam retainer... which glue to use?

Thank you so much Seth for that big thumbs up! It is simply an application of existing technology to cure a similar problem. I wish CMG would see fit to give me serious money for this but, alas, I'm certain I will remain penniless.

    Any Cure for the Kroll??

I too have had that problem with the Kroll, but I have found a solution. Just take some rubbing alcohol and pour some into the side of the switch where the side spring is and click like crazy. The alcohol will dry quickly and will clean the internal contacts of any corrosion which is what's...

Reflections on the McFlood - beam shotz

Hi all! This is only my second post but have been lurking for over a year. Just a couple questions. 1. Is the McFlood reflector all metal or is it aluminized plastic? 2. Is the reflector surface smooth or is it "orange peel" like an E2E's?

What is your Serial # for the KL1?

Hi guys! This is my first post here. I know this is OT but I have an Arc SLS #666 and I love it! The number just makes it that much more special IMHO.
