    Zebra light for work

I work outside at night and was considering a zebralight. I have never used a light which is so configured. My question is about the security of the light while working. If I climb a ladder or lay back on a creeper will it remain stable?

Faulty Preon II? - Utter Disappointment

I had a preon II that worked about a week and then was faulty. It would work sometimes and then not others. I got in contact with 4 sevens customer support and they swapped me for another and I have not had any problems with the new one. If yours has problems I suggest you call them. I'm sure...

    17670 storage in hot conditions

I would be interested if there are any problems with storing li-ion batteries at high temperatures. I want to keep a spare battery in my car. I suspect the conditions to be (inside the car) 130 deg for 8 hours a day for weeks on end.

Is anyone still using the NDI as their EDC?

I use mine every day at work. I've never had a problem with it. Even though it's small enough to pocket, I carry it in a holster. I work outside at night and find that the max mode is usually too much for what I'm doing (looking inside aircraft inspection panels). I've thought about getting a...

    LED Technology information

Perhaps someone could help me out. My job requires that I work outside at night (helicopter mechanic). For years I have used flashlights, but they were just tools, like a wrench or a screwdriver, I never thought much about them. Since arriving here I have become more interested in the workings...

    I actually used my EDC

The other night I was in my living room reading. It was about 2AM. I heard tires squeel, then headlights shining on my window where lights should never shine, finally a crash and crumple sound. I ran outside to see a truck wrapped around a tree in our driveway. I ran inside and retrieved my...

    Choosing my first real EDC

The pictures are of my son's P2D which uses the 123 battery you said you preferred. Next to it is my edc the nitecore ez cr2. I tend to emphasize the carry part of every day carry. It needs to be convenient to have in my pocket. Below are some beam shots of both lights at full power. Just...

    What is a "tactical" flashlight?

I purchased a light touted as tactical. Its a ndi defender infinity r2. I work as a quality assurance inspector for a helicopter company in the gulf of mexico. I needed to have a bright light to see into inspection panels and not fail to see anything which might be amiss. It needed to be tough...

    who's BROKE a Fenix Flashlight?

I have broken two l2d's (actually the same one twice, as I purchased a replacement head). I dropped it and it fell square on the head onto concrete and quit working. I ordered a new head and after 9 months dropped it with the same result. After that I decided against another one and so I ordered...
