Wow, nice find!

Gotta say that the top has the best looks. Don't know if it's SS or polished aluminium, but the bottom ones doesnt look as good. Is there any kind of surface treatment on them? Allthough for 20bucks, you cant go wrong (and I never really understood the point of HA, if the light gets scratched, so what?). Looks extremely bright also. Will it be a two mode? The circuit you linked seem to be a single stage?

And is there any chance of purchasing these outside China? Was a thread a while back with some really nice looking SS-lights, but don't know what happened to that.

When and where? For $20 I will be all over this!

I really hope it is the one in the top picture.

Lobo,
I'm not sure if they going to use the exact same circuit board DX sells, but they are using those 7135 chips on their drivers. The body of the light is most likely type 2 aluminium anodising, not HA III. The light can tail stand, and should comes with 2 modes as well. As for those SS AA and 18650, I still have not seen any updates :duh2:.

Nitroz,
The light is compatible with all 3 heads, so when the customers purchase the light they have a choice to pick the head size they perfered.
According to the seller, the reflector in medium size head's is same as the one Regal WT1 uses.

So will the body come like the first picture, and not the second or third?

Re: L-DINI, interesting looking 18650 light.

LOL, same body in all 3 pictures. The person who took the pictures is not very skillful, that's why they look a bit different.

Re: L-DINI, interesting looking 18650 light.

I meant the finish of the body. Will it be shiny like the first picture, or dull gray?

Re: L-DINI, interesting looking 18650 light.

L-DINI Come with 2 color, black and gray.
Most likely, the "dull" gray is going to be the finish product.
Since those lights in pictures are just prototypes, I guess the final product might vary a bit in color.

Re: L-DINI, interesting looking 18650 light.

Bummer....:( I like the raw look.

Re: L-DINI, interesting looking 18650 light.

But what are the chances that we will actually see these available to those of us from other countries? Past lights announced and sold on shoudian never managed to have a wide reach anyway.

Re: L-DINI, interesting looking 18650 light.

You can encourage DX or Kaidomain to carry them, then we'll all benefit. :D

Re: L-DINI, interesting looking 18650 light.

Oooh, I've been waiting for an 18650-based light that does NOT have a turbo head...the 20mm head looks appealing.

Re: L-DINI, interesting looking 18650 light.

Now, why can't Surefire, Streamlight or Fenix pick up on this and offer an awesome package that fulfill "everything" that most people would need... then, go a step farther and make it P60 compatible, programmable and give it accessories for weaponlights, etc...

It looks really sweet though... that picture vs. the DBS is impressive.
