12 Volt Spot Light

Hey guys, 1st time here and some great reading to do!

Here is my question for all. The family and I love to go out "shining" deer about this time of year. Driver (ME :) ) is getting a Golight 7901 with wireless remote so I won't have to get wet and cold but my Fiance and kids want handheld units. I don't want to have to spend a million dollars on a couple lights, but 50$ish wouldn't be bad. I want them to be plug in's not rechargable's because we usually spend 4-5 hrs out. I've seen alot of good things about the Brinkmann Q-Beam Max Million III Spotlight and it's only like 30$. Another other ideas for me?!

On a side not I also do some coyote hunting in a potato field. Looking for a good rechargable light as well for that purpose......

Alright, prior to all your buddies beleirs LOL I don't care if it from Hang Chong Ping. But...... This light works on 100% 12v?! I'm all about it but need it to operate off of 12v

OP, I went home made & used a cheap 35watt HID ballast & bulb kit & put it in a small N30 sized light that runs off the cig lighter. 3 amps is nothing. After going HID, you never look back at power hungry awful colour temp Halogen lamps. Going HID is a bit more pricey, but worth it in the long run.

My compact very lite (no batt) cig lighter HID light throws a few 100 metres, I dont fancy holding a massive reflector like the blitz240 housing a HID. would be great throw.

Camo sounds fun. I just assume you are aware of the obvious fake meaningless CP ratings? Not sure if that's your own quote?

I am looking for something along the same lines. 12v, no battery, but am willing to spend for HID or LED or whatever has powerful throwing capacity. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am also looking for wild game across 100s of meters of open field. Thank you guys in advance!

PM member FritzHID. He's selling complete HID modded spotlights. Not sure if he's doing 100 Watt units yet or not but pretty sure it's 50 Watt or more.

True 15 Million CP? Not a chance, true CP would be less than 400 K cp.
I bought two of those for mod but decided to abort, it's huge!

Not sure if that will do what you want but may be worth a look.

I have a Black and Decker V2 Million 35w/55w Incandescent spotlight which is not a bad light but i am sure that the above lights would put out more light and also throw further while getting better run-time too :).
