With the release of the new Cree MK-R, XHP50, and XHP70 I am wondering if I can run any of those straight off of 12v with any thing else. They all have a 12v option which to me makes me think I can run the led straight off a 12v battery with nothing more than just a fuse in between the led and battery, is this a correct train of thought?
