168A button is squished flat; how to fix?

On one or two of my Wolf Eyes 168A cells, the button has flattened out to the point where the cell can't make contact with the charger or the flashlight. What's the best way to build up the button height by 1 to 3mm?

It probably happened when I tried to tighen the 42mm bezel on a RICO Alpha 9 lamp assembly.

The "best" way to take care of this is to replace the cell...

If it were mine and I still wanted to use the cell I would stick a rare earth magnet on top of it.

Make sure the pcb is still functioning properly before you use them. The pcb may have been crushed/cracked by the pressure.

If SilverFox and AW recommend retiring these cells, that's good enough for me.

How should I dispose of them? Sorry if this has been covered.
