18650 2800mah protected or not?

Trying to find out if my 18650 is protected or not. I can not find any 2800mah ultrafire cells anywhere so could it be fake cells?

I don't see a protection circuit on the negative pole of this cell.

Regarding capacity, 2800mAh is highly unlikely.

Pictured the wrong end of the battery , but looks like nix on the PTC .
+ The charger pictured , mine died after charging one battery ...

After a closer look I am sure it is unprotected.
And i found a small damage under the protective wrapping (the battery is new and has never been charged).

I just ordered a AW18650 instead.
