First of all congratulations for sach a great site. The information here is very very interesting and usefull...... and yes.... I have a new hobby.... flashlights!

Today I've recieved my TA21 with 2 18650 protected ultrafire 3000mha and a Ultrafire WF-137 charger.

Is it safe to run the bateries untill the flashlight turns off? (I understand that this could be because of the TA regulated circuit or the protection circuit in the cell). I am not planning to do this in every single cycle, but may be 2 - 3 times a year using it and one more time to perform a runtime test of my batteries.

How much time will my cell last? in the cell it says 10 years. Do I have to dispose the cell after 10 years? May I continue using it if still performs?

If my cells capacity goes down 80% do I have to recicle it because of safety concerns or may I still using it around the house?

Is my charger safe? I take out the cell before the charge was over and it was 4.14V

Thank you!
Max

Max, I hope thats not the lights, chargers and cells that you charged back against us citing that the products never came and we ended up taking the loss. We just spoke to you and you said you never got the ta21 :thumbsdow

Its slow sometimes and its fast sometimes, same as USPS. The slowest package I can recall was an EMS shipment from the shoppe, it usually takes a week, this one took 45 days, but it finally arrived.
From the hundreds of packages I sent when I was more active building flashlights and mods, i only recall losing a couple, one of them totally lost and the other opened in transit.
Receiving is not a problem, never lost a package from David or any US dealer.

People like the OP really make me mad. If he claimed it as lost yet it turned up just after, I think he owes 4sevens some cash.

It's people like this that cause some sellers to state "Ship at your own risk, no refund/replacement if lost in the mail" :(

I have to disagree here, I only state that in my salesthreads because sometimes shipments do get lost in the mail, not because I don't trust the buyer.
Unfortunately the USPS is one of the least reliable mailservices I deal with... :(

Ah, yea well that's why some refuse to ship to Italy now and such, because the packages don't arrive most of the time :/

USPS seems reliable to and from UK though :)

I don't ship out of the US if something's somewhat expensive. It's generally not worth the risk or cost. Within the US, USPS is pretty reliable and accountable, but outside, it's iffy. With delivery confirmation, you'll know if the package made it to the destination, but if course, if it disappears because of theft, neither USPS nor the seller could be responsible.

Did he ever settle/fess up on this matter?

I wonder if there's a way for merchants to fight chargebacks? Cause this thread here is pretty good proof if it indeed was him,and his name matches up...

4sevens, can you charge his credit card anyway?
He hasn't gone back to this thread in almost two months, if you don't do anything, I'm afraid it's going to be a permanent loss for you.... unfortunately.

It's people like these that wreck it for others, I'm surprised that 4sevens is willing to be responsible for postal mishaps. =O
