I have an AW 18650 that I put on the charger when I went to bed. In the morning, it was still charging. It was just a bit warm to the touch when I removed it.

I stuck it in my DBS and used it at full power for over an hour, then stuck it in a different charger at work. It was still charging after maybe 6 hours. I pulled it off and used it for another ~1.5 hours in my DBS.

I haven't seen any other 18650s need that much charging on either of these chargers. I'm thinking maybe this cell needs to move on to The Great Flashlight In The Sky, if it never stops charging. Survey says...?

Yes. Discharge and get rid of the cell.

What charger? Failure to terminate sounds like a charger failure.

The charger at home is the UltraFire WF-139 I got from 4Sevens. The one at work is some no-name thing I got from BatteryJunction. They appear to be charging my other AW 18650 normally, as well as a couple Tenergy protected 18650s and one UltraFire protected 18650, so I'll follow your advice and discharge the cell, then give it to the recyclers. Thanks guys :)

If you use Li-Ion cells, you should follow StarHalo's advice and get yourself a DMM. Measuring the voltage of a Li-Ion cell will tell you its state of charge and condition. If it is an exhausted cell like the one you mention here, voltage measurments would have indicated this some time ago.

I've been wanting a DMM anyway, so now I have one more reason to stop procrastinating and buy one :)
