I got some certs for dead NiMH 2500's...

I went to Sams to get a set of the Lithium 12 pack of AA's for $19 but they don't take coupons...

What should I do with the certs?

I dont want to end up with afflicted 2500's again and I have a Good MAHA charger, and I get alkaline for 24 for 3.88 and so I don't buy name brand alky's...

Any one know where I can find the 2000-2300 NIMH's or should I just spend them on Lithiums AA's from walmart?

Any one wanna trade em for a 18605 charger?

This is a bit off topic. The low self discharge like the Sanyo eneloop cells are great but why would you use them for daily use? One should use them in devices that are seldom used but want them to operate when needed! If one uses them for daily use, you'll never see or benefit from their differences over standard Ni-MH cells. They cost more and have only have a capacity around 2Ah too! My $0.02.

They don't cost more right now, sometimes less. They'll probably hold up more years regardless of type of use b/c of more robust separators. I'll rarely see more than 2Ah out of my 2100-2500mAh cells since it's rare I'd use them that soon.

If you charge and run to flat daily then OK 2500mA may be better, SKYWLKR was considering lithium primarys, so low self discharge may be required. Personally I prefer to stick to one type cell for all applications and to know it will be ready to go when I want it when ever and what ever that is. Price is hardly more expensive now.

I would like the energizer 2000-2300's but I cant find them, I have to buy SOME energizer product.
I figured the Lithiums would be best because I use them for hiking and long term use in Eotech's and Kobras.

What other Energizer is worth the purchase?

I see no point in NOT buying LSD (Eneloop / Hybrio) these days - the capacity seems to be a true 2000-2100mah whereas most of the 2300-2700mah (claimed) are often a lot less (i.e. nearer 2000-2200mah anyway) and certainly after a few days / a week.

Some users still are after a few hundred more mAh extra, so LSD cells aren't for them! If you don't see the point, it's pointless then.

Well, there's a great opportunity for an out of context quote... :sssh:

Anyhow, I think that Eneloops and the likes are better than other higher capacity cells, even in regularly used devices. Unless you really use them right away, that is. I can see police officers who use NiMH cells and have a charger hooked up to their car wanting 2700s or other high(er) capacity cells, because they would likely need their lights frequently during a night shift. Still, most people don't have needs like this. Plus, normal NiMH cells can't make you hallucinate. :duh2:
