200W emmiter

if they get water running across it should be great.
i have twice now done dunk tests of leds, trying to boil the water in a glass :) hey they seem hot enough. and everytime, i put them into water, crank up the juice to excessive, they just keep on plugging away. no boiling water, and the led can take an overdrive it couldnt do on a heatsinc. even the outside of the glass doesnt get tooo hot.
course the water fogs up.

might be interesting to run a array under mineral oil too, just have the light be IN a mineral oil globe. solve the problem of having 50 feet of heat sinc with a 2mm light in there.

course wouldnt it be better to spread the tiney emitter spaces out to more area, use line and filiment emitters, why does everything have to be a huge single BALL of light? in area lighting it burns your eyes out.
the light has to be pulled out of view, contained, then they will want reflectors and domes, and be right back to incans with 50% reducing Shades over them, get all efficent, then stuff 20% reducing difusion on it again.

why did they make the "florescent replacement" bulb from a bunch of leds, when you instead could have a hugely elongated gate/emitter thing , 4 feet of led gate lets see them do that .

why do we always end up right back where we started, where were we trying to go :)
how about walls with electrolumenescent type led arrays in them, no lights just light.
