2AAA Minimag measurement request / Fenix L0D mod idea

Could someone with a 2AAA Minim@g measure its battery tube--length, inside and outside diameters?

I'm wondering if it might be feasible to convert the M@g tube to a 2AAA tail for the Fenix L0D CE. That would give considerable more brightness punch in a penlight format without having to resort to overdriven lithium ion cells. The Fenix head extends rather far into the Fenix tube, so it might be possible to cut down the M@g tube and re-thread it for this purpose.
