2nd hand warranty from manufacturers?

I've noticed there are many transactions going on at the Marketplace. Usually someone will sell their light(s) when newer and better one comes out or simply are bored with it. If someone bought a 2nd hand light and it dies, does the manufacturer still honor it's original warranty of the light?

Depends on the manufacturer, most will just ask you to send it back to fix.

If it's a lifetime warranty, they won't ask for a receipt.
