Ok so I've had AW's awesome switch for a long time but lately it just seems too recessed to press normally. I have to hold it a certain way to just be able to fire it up. Is this a typical problem with this switch, has anybody else had this issue? Is there a way to fix it?

You can add a foam pad underneath the rubber boot to fill up the gap. Adjust the thickness to your liking but make sure it won't be too easy to power on by accident.

Hey AW, thanks for making great products! I only run your batts in all my lights. Anyway, thanks for the reply, what type or kind of foam are you talking about? Also, how is it adhered to the switch to keep it from slipping?

I am really enjoying this 3-stage switch assembly in a 6P with various extensions, plus the fact that it is soft-start.

Hi Swagg,

Try the 2mm thick foam ( some from 3M have self stick back ) with some adhesive should work. If not, I can send you some.

Got to use soft presses with this switch. Don't pound on it like an old Remington Rand typewriter. LOL.

Yeah, if you could send me exactly what you are talking about that would be amazing. Thank you so much, PM on the way. You can't get better customer service than that folks!
