Guess it depends if you literally want a spot light or not. Spot implies a very narrow long reaching beam of light imho. And the Oracle 35W is not that...though I do have an Oracle and like it very much for the price.
If you want a spot light you might want to take a look at the Ammondotec Titanium Mega Illuminator at BatteryJunction. It's a big heavy beast but is one of the best spot lights for the price.

Cory, it really depends on what you'll be using it for and whether you're looking for something small, medium or large. For a high quality, long throwing, 4200 Kelvin bulb, small/medium spot, the L35 is a very good light and just a little bit over $300.

+1 on the L35.
well i will be using it for lobstering in the florida keys on the grass flats at night and for herping (reptile collecting) i like the wolf because you can adjust the focus can you do that with the oracle? i dont like the one you posted because it just look to big and bulky.

Did you read the specs or looks at the size and weight? It's very lightweight and a full 35W with great run-time. It seems to me that run-time would be important for what you're doing.
I didnt even look at the specs on the L35.I just really dont like the look of it and if im gonna spend that much on a flashlights i would like it to look nice.but if thats the best for the money then i might have to take a seacond look.PS i would like a light that i can adjust the beam not somthing thats just a spot sorry if i was unclear.

You still didn't mention run-time but for the purpose you described I would think good run-time would be helpful. Looks are a bit subjective so from that standpoint I can't give you any more input. With regards to focusing only a few lights have that feature that still fall within your other parameters. Actually, I think there's only one type, the Oracle or Tactical HIDs. Since the run-time on the 24W is so short that only leaves the 35W, which most owners seem to like.
After having owned a light similar to the Oracle 24W, I can say they're not nearly as useful as work lights as the N30 or L35 style lights. Also, I never use the focus on focusing lights...I always just "set 'em and forget 'em" as Ron Popeil would say. A diffuser on the other hand, I find to be a useful accessory.

run time isnt that big of a deali would only need about 30-45mins of light .you havent said anything about the wolfs eyes boxer is it anygood? i really do like like the oracle but i just have a feeling that its not meant for alot of use.

The Boxer is the light I owned. Its big selling points are the small size and non-proprietary battery back, as it accepts any 18650 batteries. On the down side is the 6500K color temperature. Good tint and high CRI will be important for what you're doing. Hold out for something in the 4200K range. I would select this above all other things.
