Hello!
Have two 3P's and a 6P from the Laser Products days and the tail switch
is nothing but a spring and domed aluminum button. Nothing like the
multiple-part switches that come up in typical twisty-clicky postings.
Do you suppose the Z59 would work? Or, any other switches that don't
cost such an unreasonable price? Have disliked the twistys for years but
just never did anything--Then I discovered CPF, and am sure I'm going
Straight To H... for my new self-indulgence. But it beats watching TV!!
Thanks & regards,
Chuck

You can put any 6P clicky in there, but if you use the stock Surefire clicky the performance will suffer.

Check out oveready.com

They sell the McCliky+brass and the 6P tailcap all assembled for you.

I only use Zero Tolerance Mod (6P twistie) from oveready.com because it offers the best performance due to almost zero resistance.

Those 3P and 6P's are nice and collectable.

You'd need to check first that it is compatible with your older Laser Products lights.
On that point, I just saw this in another thread:

Here are the side by sides - showing another similar round body/laser products era tail along side the newer ".com" tail I received - note the difference in hole size for the button:

As he says, note the difference in the size of the hole for the button.
