4x P7, Bicycle light DIY

Very cool project. I was a little worried about his heat-sinking, until I saw his pics and realized he's riding in the snow.

The one thing I will say with these types of projects is that flooding the foreground with too much light can make it harder to see distances, which could be problematic off-road.

But still, a very nice project indeed!

The owner says under first pic that cooling indeed is inadequate for indoor use. Needs lower temp...
But after all, we don´t use flashlights much at summer in here :D

4 p7's for a bike? egads, that is probably 3000 lumens or so. whilemely impressive, I'd say for off road use only. I am pretty sure that will blind oncoming drivers.

Hmm, I've used my 3D DD P7 for just that.

Often cardrivers ignore people on bicyles and don't dimm their lights at night. Well, I'll signal them. I don't like to be blinded :ironic:

I love these bike light builds. Pepko that IS very nice. One of these days I'll try making one.

OMG, what an incredible beamshot. :faint: :faint: :faint:
