I don't think it's retailed plus with the markup I suspect it will cost more than a dedicated bike light. I have 7 luxeon I's stars but the binning is too low. Maybe 20 lumens each.

The unit is made by universal sicence and uses the polymer optic.

I did say in one of my posts that i'd got a manufacture on board thats why i was able to offer a 2 year warranty on my light when put in to production (well modified to bike light).

The costs are not that bad, I'm able to produce the 6 LED bike light and sell it for £250. The cheepest bike light with the same or even close to the same output is about £450.

This lights are mentioned to be for interior inside use, so there is no cooling from air flow when you are riding,...

because of that LED's must be underdriven,...
 
ah-ha just the opposite is true!
because they are interior lights they have big cooling fins and are underdriven
if you have them on your bike you can whack up the current to 1amp :naughty:
