i have a friend who was quite impressed with some of my flashlights compared to his 3d maglite. he now wants to 'upgrade' his old light or get one from me. i told him that unless he was ready to spend some buckoo bucks, get a aa light like the mte seoul (he doesn't know what that means so i just showed him mine). i'm now leaning toward a terralux 2-3 cell upgrade for him.
it will give him great runtime and be brighter and smoother beam (his is horrible) for $30.
my question, is that where i should lean this noobie to flashlights,
and is terralux coming out with something more efficent soon where i should wait a month or so.
