Hey there, I searched around and didn't find much info-- but here's the deal: I want an LED (preferably CREE) that will eat my Eneloops and mount to my AR via the standard 1" mounts out there? Even better, is there someone who makes a AA light that will mount (and handle the recoil) to a Glock 22 (.40 S&W)? Or is there some magical 2xAA tube that fits into CR123 light that I don't know about?

Currently I am using an Inova XO3 on a 1" mount, but it's a it hard to hit the tail with my thumb-- and lithium cells are pricey. Thanks all in advance!

I don't have a lot of experience with weapon lights, but most people seem to feel that the only lights worthy of mounting on a weapon are cr123 driven.

Quark AA Turbo should do you.

Thanks, I looked at it... it says that the head diameter is 1.18 inches, but what about the tube?

U238-- I know what you mean there, but I think a VLTOR stock with the AA carrier would only be a perfect match for a AA light! I have a Fenix LD20, and while I can shoot my AR single-handedly with the fore-end resting on my left forearm with light-in-hand, it's far from ideal... thanks though!

I can't see a problem with putting some hurt on AA lights to see how they hold up. I would definitely make sure the batteries are fully suspended by springs, though. I have a Magpul ACS stock, so it carries 123 batteries perfectly. :nana:
