I have also found the radio shack bulbs to be brighter. They also stay clear after hours of use. Unlike the mag bulbs that seem to turn dark after a hour or two of use.
The radio shack bulbs are a bit longer and do not focus to a tight spot like the stock bulbs do, but they are brighter and whiter.
I hear the badboy drop in work well with the maglites /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
