Have anyone seen or used AA to D size battery converter that can fit in three AA batteries?

If so where can I get them?

The common ones are for one or two AA only.

Thanks.

The KD ones are also extremely "junky" in construction. They have very high resistance, and half of mine arrived broken or non-functioning. Cells are also a VERY tight fit.

For economy, I get by with the 2xAA to 1xD SoShine ones.

Thanks to all.

I need 3AA to 1 D adapter/converter that would give 1.2-1.5V. So all three AA would need to be in parallel.

fivemega's product is much larger then a normal D cell? It does not seem to have a positive pole on top and negative pole at the bottom. Strange looking.

I have PM Eric and he is still working on creating a 3AA to D 1.2-1.5V adapter. It would be slightly longer then the D size though.

6xAA to 2D should be the correct length.
Are you talking about mdocod's adapters?

6AA>2D ~7.2V and that is connected in serial. Too high a voltage.

Some of the devices require 1D size batteries to individually place in their specific compartment/slot so I am looking for the 1D size mainly.

Well, you are gonna laugh, but what about 2 pieces of copper clad board and some electrical tape? Is this for alkalines?

Oh sorry, the link I gave you was series.

It has positive at top, and negative at bottom; also with charging jack at the bottom. I have 6AA>2D perfect size; my 3AA>D is being delivered to AU so I'm yet to see its size; but again, they're all series.

Cheers,
Kurni

You know, I was waiting for it, and VegasF6 finally said it.

You don't need to buy ready made 3-in-parallel adapters because they are incredibly easy to make. Put the 3 (or 6) parallel cells inside a cardboard tube of the right diameter and put a metal disk (such as a brass washer) on each end and between the cells. Make sure the washers can't short to the body of the flashlight and you have what you need. The spring pressure from the battery compartment will hold everything together.
