Hey all,

I have an Aleph 1 and want to put on a bezel that's more protective than the stock ring, and was wondering what my options are. I know RPM sells a very nice Ti bezel but I don't want to spend $50+, more like $15 or so. I saw the Mofobezel on Lighthound but wasn't sure if it were too thick for the Aleph. Are the Solarforce 6P/G2 size bezels compatible? Any others I should consider? Ideally I would like something short and mildly crenelated.

Thanks!

RPM's bezels are worth the money, but if you're determined to go the cheap route you can get this one from the Sandwich Shoppe: http://theledguy.chainreactionweb.com/product_info.php?cPath=48_55&products_id=887

That being said, here are some pictures of my McGizmonster with an RPM bezel installed. I would do it again without a second thought:

You might be able to bother TranquillityBase to get a bezel made too. Scott's bezels are sexxxy. :d

This is one of the coolest lights I have seen in a long time :twothumbs:twothumbs

I agree! and happily I have the same, I bought it at the same time as fyrstormer...Well mine is near enough the same, Mine has no engraved clip, and the shoppe Ti bezzle.

Originaly I had the PR head, and put on the Aleph head, but still thought the PR head was the best setup, but after adding the Ti bezzle the Aleph 1 head realy crowns the 1 cell McLux body.

The Bezzle makes a big difference.

I have the Sandwich Shoppe bezel ring on my aleph 1. It's pretty nice although I thought the crenelations were a little sharp so I took a random orbital sander to it and shaved about 1/16" or so off and like it much better.
