Aleph2 - 20mm Fraen?

Has anyone tried a 20mm Fraen optic in place of the Aleph 2's 20mm reflector? Just curious, it would make the incredibly versatile Aleph system even more so (not that it needs it!!!) /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I don't have one so nope, not me. Is the optic really 20mm or is that the "effective" diameter? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

I've never handled one in person so I'm not sure.

According to the spec sheet from LumiDrives the 6, 12 and 25 degree optic lens have a diameter of 20mm diameter and a height of 12mm. There's also an 8x25 degree optic - novel but probably not very useful.
