I'm curious how many people are using the Amilite T5 with 3.7v rechargeables without an emitter problem. Please click on the poll if you've used 3.7v batts in this light and let us know how it worked out.

This is an anonymous poll.

I used them briefly but after hearing about the led browning like a waffle, I switched to primaries. Amazing light, love it!

When I used 3,7V rechargeables the light got VERY hot - very fast.
After hearing about these brown turning emitters I decided to use primaries only.
Great flood light, btw.

Other - I used 3.7Vs, browned the emitter, replaced the LED, haven't used 3.7Vs since.

You could always try 3.0V rechargeables.
