Has anyone seen/had this

ultrafire-cree-q5-led-camping-flashlight

Claimed a Cree Q5 up to 180 lumens (unlikely though), using 18650 or holder of 3 x AAA

Interesting. I did not know this existed.

If you are open to spending more money and would enjoy supporting a creative and talented individual, be sure to check out the lanterns by member Baroutologos here.

Cool. I've got a plastic body aaax3 eGear 1 watt old luxeon that has the same type of slide-to-lantern head, identical in theory of operation. I hate that eGear switch as I found myself rolling the flashlight body around in my hand to find it in the dark, but it was cheap. Had it for probably years now. It's sitting next to an ANCIENT 21 led showerhead.

18650 LED Lantern

There's always the Solarforce lantern head and the body of your choice (the new L2N is nice)

I have a few of these SolarForce lantern heads. Very handy and will fit multiple 18650 configurations. I have this one installed on my FM 2x18650. These will fit any SolarForce P60 style bezel. These will not fit on Surfire bezels.

I like um.....

I want this so bad. I can't find an orange host OR lantern head (they only have the black lantern head where I've looked). Is this still available?

reviving this thread:

yes, our recently released product uses a single 18650 cell:

Depending on the brightness setting (of which there are 15), you can get anywhere between 3 and 300 hours of output from the lantern.

My guess is that any 6Volt lantern can be modified to run off of a power-bank that puts out a 5volt USB.

I just soldered in a USB cable to the battery box of my Energizer 4AA - 8AA lantern with Light Fusion Technology.
I got 3 hours on high with a single 3100ma 18650 in a Miller ML-102 universal charger that has a boost circuit to put out 5V USB.
See HERE for more info
