Any Interest In Luxeon Powered Light Sabers?

Looking at ElektroLumens' CopperLux Flashlight and other recent discussions here made me think about light sabers. You know, add a few splines here, a few ribs there, a rubber grip, etc.

A while ago I ordered one each of the colored Luxeons just to check them out. Light saber 'collectors' flashlights might be one good use for them. Any interest in the ultimate Luxeon 'toy'?

Perhaps the acrylic rods I just posted about would be ideal for light sabers!

Yes, I checked it out from your other discussion on CPF about them.

So, you have a "Luxeon" powered light saber you bought how many years ago?

Didn't think so; mine's brighter than yours...(it will be)....

I was thinking more just bright light, but that would certainly add a bright and cheerful 'wallop' factor to them.
