I have one of these - or, had one...the cleaners took or hid it in late 2002, so I'm in no position to comment on it or review it. Mine had a blue LED, by the way. But it vanished before I got a lot of use out of it or even determined what kind of batteries it needed. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

All I know is that I really dislike that style of keyring. All those complicated connecting parts when a simple standard split ring would probably do.
[/ QUOTE ]Yeah, I know what you are talking about; I always take all that stuff off and "on goes the split ring"!

I never even got to review it, so it's still languishing in the "Coming Soon" section of the left-frame menu. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jpshakehead.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
On that menu you'll find:
Tech. ***. 'MagmaLED' (prototype)
"Spark Plug" LED (missing?)
LED-Lenser Flash-Fire (missing?)
And at the bottom of the "Coming Soon" menu, is the following text:
Lights labelled as "missing" are
those the cleaners presumably stole
or hid in late 2002 while I was away
from home.
I don't mind all the hardware connecting it to the keyring, but I hate that shape. Sure as shooting, I'd get a nice black and blue bruise on my thigh first time I bumped into a desk with that light in my pocket. Give me an Arc AAA shape anyday.
I bought a bunch of these last year and gave them to family and friends. They have a mini screwdriver inside the tip, and are fun for a single LED toy. Quality is really pretty good. Light output similar to most single LED mini lights. I got mine at www.flashlights.com.
If you're working on your engine, you could screw it in and get light in there.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinser2.gif
