Any other bright ideas?

I have a Dexlight that I hate. The beam is purple and the PWM is impossibly flickery. For the life of me I cannot get the pill out. I have heated it with a heat gun until I saw stuff bubbling, I have frozen it, and I have soaked the innards with penetrating oil to no avail.

What is next? Acetone maybe? Anyone been inside one of these and have an idea about the glue used?
