So, I foolishly bought the Stinger HP many years ago at the recommendation of the store's employee as I started to get into this flashlight thing, instead of the the normal Stinger, at a traveling product show.

Well, never got around to really using it as the head was just too bulky to carry around (& it was using Ni-Cad batteries = horrible run times + memory).

So this is my 3rd incandescent flashlight I am trying to revive.
Found a drop in for the Streamlight TL-2 & TL-3.
Haven't found any mods for the Strion.

Any LED mods out there for the original Stinger XT HP incandescent, that are actually worthwhile? It has to be a bi=pin drop in. I found one for ~$45 that only puts out ~200 lumens - I don't thinks it is worth it.

So, any hidden gems out there?

Lumens Factory has an LED drop-in made for your light. Nichia 319A LED (Max Output 800 Lumens). I have bought several lights and drop-ins from them, plus he is a friend of CPF.

Unfortunately, it is NOT for the Stinger HP, just for the standard Stinger models. The HP model has massive head compared to the normal Stinger.
